The Best Fish and Chips in Devon

We believe that our restaurants and takeaways offer some of the best fish and chips in Devon. Here's why:

Every piece of fish on our menu is sourced from boats we know well who land their catch at Brixham market every day, MSC certified fisheries and accredited freshwater farms. It's filleted and portioned 20m away from the fish market at our base on the quayside, and sent to our restaurants on the same day in time for lunch. It doesn't get much fresher than that.

As with all wild fish, you can never guarantee supply. That's why we've introduced three delicious choices of fish and chips to our restaurant menu, including incredible line caught Icelandic haddock, prime Brixham hake & delicious bay whiting. All cooked in Rockfish batter (which is also available gluten free) and served with homemade tartare sauce.

The potatoes for our chips are grown exclusively for Rockfish and freshly cut and fried each day on site. When you order traditional fish and chips at one of our Rockfish restaurants, it is served with unlimited chips so you can eat as many as you like!

Finally, we all know that fish and chips just taste better when eaten by the sea. All of our seafood restaurants are based near or on the coast and all overlook the water, so in the winter you can enjoy fish and chips whilst storm-watching by the fire, and in the summer you can enjoy your fish and chips in the sunshine.

See for yourself if Rockfish really does offer the best fish and chips in Devon by visiting one of our seafood restaurants - choose from Plymouth, Dartmouth, Brixham, Torquay, Exeter or Exmouth.

Or you can enjoy the same delicious, sustainable fish and fresh cut chips from one of our takeaways - in Brixham, Dartmouth and Plymouth. Grab yours and then find a spot to enjoy them by the water.
