Crab Festival - This year it's at Plymouth's Fishing Quarter
Sunday 15 September
It’s going to be rocking! At the 4th annual festival which takes place during Plymouth’s Seafood Festival, Rockfish are celebrating our amazing local crab, one of the greatest seafood’s caught off the coasts of the South West of England, better known as “England’s Seafood Coast”. The restaurant will have a fabulous crab menu for which tables can be booked online between midday and 6pm, whilst the takeaway will be serving some of your favourites plus of course crab and chips. And then outside there will a fresh fish counter plus more great seafood. There is no entry charge for the festival, just rock up and join in this great late summer party. Live music all afternoon from fabulous duo Mark Ely and Gavin Cox. Bookings for inside the restaurant should be made with haste!
Mitch Tonks of Rockfish, said, “Plymouth is the city on the Ocean, so could there be a better setting in which to celebrate the amazing seafood this country catches? I love that the local people of the city come to enjoy all the events that Plymouth hosts and that this occasion shines a light on the city for visitors, they can find out why we love it so much too. As well as the main festival with great chefs on the demo stage and two full days of feasting to enjoy, Rockfish will be hosting our 4th annual crab festival. Come over to Plymouth’s Fishing Quarter and join in, if you don’t know what all the fuss is about you probably haven’t had the local seafood yet!”
