A look at what goes on at Rockfish on England's Seafood Coast
We have a local fish menu reacting to what is landed from our fishing boat "Rockfisher' and from the Fish Market each day. These can be served grilled, fried or chargrilled and with either a house salad or unlimited fries. The fish on this menu changes seasonally so there is always something different to try.
We have our own boat 'Rockfisher' skippered by Nick Rich, who lands our fish in Brixham every day outside the restaurant, as well as the best fish we select from the Brixham fish market every morning that we deliver daily to our restaurants.
We love crab at rockfish and you can expect to find Devon Crab on the menu most days, it's some of the best in the world. Keep an eye out for our annual crab festival in Dartmouth too. It's great fun!
You'll often find mussels on our menu. There are some great local mussels on England's Seafood Coast right on our doorstep.
Some fish are best served chargrilled, like these fresh sardines. Your server will advise which fish landed that day on our local fish menu are best served cooked on the chargrill.
Our Brixham restaurant sits next door to the Brixham Fish Market, the largest fish market in Britain for value of fish sold, with a strong fishing tradition dating back to the 14th century. Over 40 species land here each day so we are in the perfect location. The boats land cuttlefish, lemon & Dover sole, squid, monkfish, turbot, scallops, hake, bass, pollock, plaice and loads more.
Our skilled fishmongers prepare it on the harbourside early each morning and deliver to the restaurants before lunchtime ready to be served to you. We also have our own boat 'Rockfisher" skippered by Nick Rich, who lands fish straight in to the restaurant in Brixham.
When you see these on the local fish menu be sure to snap them up, they are absolutely delicious.

Our entire menu is available gluten free upon request and suitable for coeliacs. Just ask you server if your would like you meal prepared this way and we'll prepare it for you. We have a lovely crisp gluten free batter, our secret recipe.....
The Fish Market in Brixham is next door to our restaurant so it doesn't get any fresher than that! We regularly take our staff around the market to learn how it works and find out more about all the species caught locally and available to us.

Grilled Sand Sole is available on the local fish menu when in season and on the market. Your server will mark on the tablecloth the selection of fresh local fish landed that day.
