Tucked into Exeter's historic quayside, our restaurant sits on one of the city's oldest trading routes, a stretch of river that has carried goods, stories and fresh fish inland for centuries. We like to think we're keeping that tradition going: our seafood is landed in Brixham each morning, prepared by hand, and on the quay in time for lunch.

The quay is a peaceful spot these days, with paddleboarders gliding past, cyclists rolling off the estuary trail, and locals spilling out onto the cobbles in summer. Our outdoor terrace is made for sunny lunches by the water, while inside stays cosy year-round thanks to the log burner and a warm welcome from the crew.

Exeter is our kind of city, and the quayside is its best-kept ritual: coffee and a wander at the weekend, a swim club in the river, festivals on the green. We're proud to be the fish restaurant in the middle of it all, feeding students, families and Friday-night regulars alike.
